Aisling Corvidae

Aisling Corvidae

As night falls, and the ancient oak woods grow quiet and still, Aisling Corvidae is ready to take flight. In flickering firelight she dances, chanting the old charm spoken by many before her. Little by little, her smooth skin turns to feathers and she takes the form of a crow. Now she can go wherever she desires.

I wanted to create poseable, bird-like feet for this anthropomorphic crow doll, so I constructed the lower legs from pipe cleaners and wrapped them in acrylic fibre, giving Aisling a slightly darker, more spooky feel.
