Will I receive the actual art piece shown in the product listing?

Yes, where pieces are listed as originals, you are being given the opportunity to collect the same physical piece you see in the photographs. Both my art dolls and paintings are original works of art, and are each one of a kind. They are never mass produced, so when you collect an original, the piece you see in the photographs is the one you will receive.

Each art doll is signed and numbered, and sent packaged in a gift box, along with a name tag and signed Certificate of Authenticity. Original paintings are sold unframed, carefully packaged with a signed certificate of authenticity. Unless otherwise stated, art prints are open edition, so they may become available in different sizes from time to time. Prints are produced in small quantities, carefully checked and signed by the artist prior to shipping in a board backed envelope.

Age Suitability

Spyderthread art dolls are collectable works of art, for display only. They may contain small detachable parts, sharp edges, or fragile components. They are not toys and must not be given to a child under the age of 14 years.

Payment & Delivery

Credit and debit card payments, or PayPal are accepted. Depending on your location, you can now also spread the cost with Klarna, Clearpay or Shop Pay. 

UK Delivery

UK delivery is now FREE on all purchases

International Delivery

Orders up to £4.99: £2.50

Orders from £5 to £49.99: £10.50

Orders £50 and over: £19.50 

I am currently aiming to dispatch all orders within 5 working days. Delivery costs include a small charge for packaging. International delivery usually takes 5 to 7 working days from dispatch, but as delays are sometimes unavoidable, please allow 28 days.  Overseas customers are advised to check whether taxes such as VAT apply in their own country, as I cannot be held responsible for these when shipping items.

US Tariffs

My art dolls and paintings are classified as original works of art. As they are not mass produced, or works of a commercial character, they are exempt from import duties. USA orders are sent via Royal Mail's PDDP service, which means any customs fees will be covered by myself. There will be no hidden fees for US customers to pay on delivery. I ask that customers are patient and allow for possible delays, as packages may be subject to checks on arrival in the USA.

EU & Northern Ireland [Updated May 2026]

Due to changes in legislation, which have become increasingly difficult for small businesses to navigate, sadly I am no longer able to ship artwork to EU countries or Northern Ireland.
