Pulling Threads - Original Painting by Jo Hards

Inspired by a spider that appeared one of my dreams, Pulling Threads is about personal sovereignty, learning from our mistakes, and building the life we want, one glistening thread at a time. As we start to break threads and make holes in our web, it may appear messy and we don’t always know how it’s going to fit back together, but little by little, it all starts to make sense, as an intricate network takes shape to create something stronger. It’s all about trusting the process and seeing the beauty in the darker times.

This unique, original painting is rendered in acrylics on a 6" square cradled wooden panel (150mm x 150mm x 20mm). The deep blue background is continued on to the edges of the panel. A clear varnish has been added to protect the finish and deepen colours. Hanging wire and D ring fittings have been fitted, allowing the painting to be hung flush to the wall with no frame required. A signed certificate of authenticity is included.
