As I was creating Eryn, the weather here in Wales was beginning to grow colder, heralding the start of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. As the days get shorter and darker, I like to start bringing some greenery into the boat to lift my spirits. We've experienced a lot of rain here in Wales recently, so the lush evergreens are even more vibrant than usual this year, against the misty mountains and steely grey skies. As I was out gathering some spruce branches, it occurred to me that I hadn't made a doll with green hair in quite a while, so I used some metallic acrylic yarn in a rich emerald green to create Eryn Winterthyme's hair.
