Aisling Corvidae - Original Textile Art Doll

As night falls, and the ancient oak woods grow quiet and still, Aisling is ready to take flight. In flickering firelight she dances, chanting the old charm spoken by many before her. Little by little, her smooth skin turns to feathers and she takes the form of a crow. Now she can go wherever she desires.

This one of a kind, Gothic style, anthropomorphic crow art doll measures 26cm (around 10") from head to foot, Aisling is made from black quilting cotton, with cotton velvet wings and poseable wired crow feet. 

The neck on this doll is a fixed joint. The wings are button jointed, and the wired lower legs are attached at the knee with decorative metal bead joints. Aisling's face has been hand painted in acrylics. She has metal buttons for eyes.

Aisling wears a black cotton velvet bodice with a tattered black lace skirt, and a Celtic Triquetra charm. 

As with all Spyderthread products, Aisling Corvidae is vegan friendly. She is signed, numbered and dated by the artist, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity, which has her story printed on the reverse. Unless otherwise stated, clothes are fixed in place.
