Ghost of Winter Trees - Original Painting by Jo Hards

When the harsh winter finally ends, and life returns to the forest, some trees do not come back to life. Their hollow, twisted frames tower over the new growth of spring, as stark reminders of the cold dark months. This ghostly figure is the spirit of the trees that silently withered in the icy grip of winter.

This unique, original painting is rendered in acrylics on 5" x 7" cradled wooden panel (127mm x 178mm x 20mm) finished with a matte varnish to minimise glare. The painting is continued on to the edges of the panel and signed on the bottom edge. Hanging wire and D ring fittings have been fitted, allowing the painting to be hung flush to the wall with no frame required. A certificate of authenticity is included.
