Ivy Widdershins is often called a crone. It may be meant as an insult, but Ivy wears the name as a badge of honour. As with her mane of silver hair, she's earned it. When an infant is sick or crops are withering, the villagers will come to Ivy and she always has just the right thing to help.

This one of a kind, button eyed, witch, crone, or cunning woman art doll measures 26cm (around 10") from head to toe. Ivy is made from silver grey quilting cotton, jointed with antique silver effect, metal beads at the shoulders, elbows, wrists and knees. The neck is button jointed.

Ivy's face has been hand painted in archival quality ink, acrylics and artists’ coloured pencil for a long lasting finish. She has gunmetal finish buttons for eyes. The hair is made from silky soft, lotus fibre.

She wears a broderie anglaise bodice and bloomers, a long cotton muslin skirt with cotton lace trim and a bunch of decorative keys, and a velvet choker with a silver tone sword pendant.

Ivy comes complete with a removable burgundy velvet, hooded cloak and a wooden broomstick with a crescent moon charm. Ivy's boots are hand painted in acrylics with an ivy leaf design

As with all Spyderthread products, Ivy Widdershins is vegan friendly. She is signed, numbered and dated by the artist, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Unless otherwise stated, clothes are fixed in place. Please note that this doll is a collectible art doll, for display only.
