Inspired by Irish Celtic mythology, Morrigan, Macha and Badb (pronounced 'Bive') are three shape-shifting sisters, often considered to be three aspects of a single goddess known as The Morrigan. Here, the three appear as crows, roosting on bare branches, adorned with an array of shiny trinkets, against a moonlit winter sky.
This original illustration is rendered in black archival quality ink and Derwent Inktense on 7x10 inch, acid free, 300gsm, textured watercolour paper. The painted area measures 6 x 9 inches. A signed certificate of authenticity is included.
