Queen of Crows - Original Painting by Jo Hards

Drawing inspiration from Irish mythology, Queen of Crows shows the Morrigan, as she transforms into a crow. She rests her left hand on a sword, as magic flows like smoke from her fingertips. The shapeshifting Great Queen watches over the battlefield, ready to proclaim the winner. In her right hand, the Morrigan holds a torc, which would be worn around the neck by rulers of the land, as a symbol of sovereignty. Three crows fly overhead, symbolising the triple nature of this Goddess.

This unique, original art piece is painted in acrylics on 12" x 16" (300mm x 400mm x 20mm) wooden panel, wired and ready to hang, no frame required. A clear satin varnish has been added to protect the finish. The painting is signed in the bottom corner, and comes complete with a signed certificate of authenticity.
